It's 16 weeks until the Surrey Bacchus Full and Half marathon. If you have not already done so, now is a great time to kick start your training plan.
Bacchus is very much about fun and enjoyment with lots of first timers participating. So a 'get round' programme will be perfectly adequate. The plans below are suitable for both runners and walkers.
Consistency is key, so you will need to plan to get out three to four times a week. We also strongly recommend that you add a conditioning session to your weekly training. Pilates is key! And of course, if you want to sample the Denbies Wines before the day you can buy them either from Denbies direct or local Sainsbury's supermarkets.
